  Following on from the launch of his critically acclaimed 6th solo album in 2014, Charles Jenkins decided to write and record an album inspired by Melbourne and its surrounds. For this one off performance, he enlisted Ice Cream Hand’s Douglas Robertson and Zhivago’s Dave Milne, and The Amateur Historians were born.
  What followed were sold-out shows at Fitzroy and Northcote Town Halls, the release of two limited-edition albums and a “best of” collection all in one year. Charles Jenkins and The Amateur Historians will perform a return show for BMF audiences.
