    ICECREAM HANDS | CHRISTMAS SHOW ALBUM LAUNCH with special guests The Wellingtons

    Local power-pop legends Icecream Hands have emerged from the depths of winter with a very special gift for fans – a brand-new album, Giant Fox Pineapple Tree.  

    This year’s traditional pre-Christmas Icecream Hands show will turn into a full-blown album launch in celebration of the release of their eighth album. Join in the festivities at Northcote Social Club on Saturday 20 December as we unwrap a swag full of shiny new tracks – along with some classic fan favourites.

    Recorded by Greg J. Walker, the much-anticipated new album Giant Fox Pineapple Tree is brimming with pop-rock melodies and the soaring harmonies that have become an Icecream Hands’ trademark.

    Charles Jenkins is a Melbourne songwriter/musician, producer and performer who has released 23 albums, toured Europe and the USA several times and been nominated for two ARIA awards with the Icecream Hands. In 2014 he won the AGE/Music Victoria award for best folk/roots album. In Oct 2024 he released his latest album Radio Sketches – Lately In The Garden. Known for his strong, poetic songs, exquisitely crafted ballads, unique phrasing and melodic invention, Charles Jenkins is a top storyteller with a sharp tongue and a wry sense of humour.
