My brand-spanking new album Radio Sketches 2 – The Death of Stars will be released on December 2.
The album is a follow-up to last year’s Radio Sketches and is a whole new collection of songs written for Jon Von Goes’ weekly 3RRR radio show.
This new collection is also a collaboration with my esteemed fellow Icecream Hand, Douglas Lee Robertson. Douglas Lee took the songs I’d quickly sketched out on guitar and turned them into the technicolour renditions you see before you.
First single The Many Moods of Love is a fantastic example of how we collaborate.
It’s a simple yet intriguing lyric and melody I sketched out on guitar, that is turned into something lush and emotional by Douglas Lee’s beautiful string and piano parts.
